The Phoenix City Council has given overwhelming approval to a measure that would prevent landlords and property owners from discriminating against renters or buyers who rely on public assistance for income.
Obama touts housing plan during Phoenix visit
President Barack Obama announced a plan today in Phoenix to make home ownership more affordable by lowering Federal Housing Administration mortgage insurance premiums by 0.5 percent, to 0.85 percent from 1.35 percent.
