A federal judge on Monday sentenced former U.S. Rep. Rick Renzi to three years in prison for convictions on public corruption, money laundering and other charges, capping a corruption case prosecutors said began more than a decade ago.

Scottsdale poker room owner gets 3 years’ probation, $1,800 fine

Marc Adreani, the owner of an illegal Scottsdale poker room, was sentenced Nov. 18 to three years of probation with fines reaching almost $1,800. The ruling stopped short of the $2,250 in fines the city of Scottsdale sought. It also returned some items to Adreani that the city had sought forfeiture of.

Fox says he’ll name SCA donors, but only if kept from public

The man who headed a group that gave $105,000 to the Arizona Republican Party shortly before last year’s primary election faces a six-figure fine for failing to comply with a judge’s order that he provide the names of his donors - though he did tell the Maricopa County Elections Department he would turn over the names of the donors if their identities would be withheld from the public.
