Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake will finally get an event sponsored by the Arizona Citizens Clean Elections Commision, but instead of taking questions from a journalist, she’ll speak with conservative commentator Mike Broomhead, host of a popular show on FM radio station KTAR.

Lake flip-flops on ‘rare and legal’ abortion

For a few hours on October 4, it looked like Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake was making a hard pivot to the center on abortion. But by the end of the day, the campaign had walked back comments in which Lake suggested that she wanted abortion to be “rare and legal.”

Brewer again rallies Medicaid supporters at Capitol

For the fourth time in about two months, Gov. Jan Brewer rallied with supporters of her Medicaid expansion proposal at the Capitol, gathering hundreds of people for the largest such event she’s held since unveiling her health care plan.
