Secure the Border Act could worsen prison problems
What does this do to an already strained Arizona prison system? If the voters pass HCR2060, what then? The answers are not clear, a scary thought for Arizona. ADCRR stated in its memo that “a policy change of this magnitude [should] receive sober and thorough consideration from lawmakers” and calls for attention to “threats to public safety and the prison system’s continuing operations.”
