Why She Ran: “It gives me an opportunity to serve the citizens. I enjoy being a public servant, I enjoy being part of the community and I want to work toward advocating for the issues that matter to my constituency.”

Her Focus: “I have three main areas I want to focus on. The first is education, the second is the economy and job creation and the final area is water.”

Bills: A primary sponsor of SB 1160, which would allow a federally issued employment authorization document to serve as proof that the applicant’s presence in the United States is authorized under federal law.
