After 2020 election, public records requests soared
Following the aftermath of the 2020 presidential election, one of the nation’s most watched counties is receiving an unprecedented increase in public records requests. The Maricopa County Recorder’s Office provided data to the Arizona Capitol Times about public records requests received from Nov. 1, 2022, to Sept. 26, 2023.
