Arizona Supreme Court Justice Rebecca White Berch submitted her formal notice of retirement to Gov. Doug Ducey today, ending 17 years on the bench in which she helped decide some of Arizona’s most contentious and controversial political cases.

The Arizona Office of Tourism has a new director. Gov. Doug Ducey announced Wednesday that Sherry Henry is retiring and Debbie Johnson has been appointed the office's new director.
Former OSPB chief to head up AHCCCS
Gov. Jan Brewer replaced one of the last major agency heads left over from the Napolitano era, naming former OSPB chief Thomas Betlach as director of the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System. Betlach had served as deputy director of the agency since 2002. He replaces Anthony Rodgers, who was appointed to the position in 2003 by then-Gov. Janet Napolitano.
