Supervisors to select Crump replacement today

The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors will meet today at 9 a.m. to select a replacement for state Rep. Sam Crump of Anthem.

Crump resigned from the state Legislature late last month to focus on his campaign for the U.S. House seat being vacated by Rep. John Shadegg, an Arizona Republican who is retiring.

The Republican District 6 precinct committeemen nominated Steve H. Kaiser, Dr. Patrick J. O’Neill and Amanda A. Reeve for the appointment to replace Crump.
