SB1082 provides contraceptive help
The Arizona section of the American College of OB/GYNs strongly endorses this legislation, as does a bipartisan group of legislators. Introduced by Republican Senator Michelle Ugenti-Rita, SB1082 is currently awaiting it’s turn in the House Rules Committee. We call on our Legislature to pass it. It would be a huge win for Arizona women, and for all of us.
Statehood for D.C.
Arizona’s senators have the power to extend voting rights, congressional representation, and statehood to the 712,000 residents of Washington D.C. this year. Just as veterans and servicemembers live here in Arizona, tens of thousands of us live in our nation’s capital — and they’re depending on you, Senator Sinema and Senator Kelly, to honor their service and do the right thing.
Fann acting like a child
She is saying that if your party doesn’t win, do anything legal or not to reverse the outcome. Are Arizona voters really in step with this trend? It has been said many times during this fiasco, there may be no democracy in the next election. Watch out!
Make paid leave part of economic recovery

O’Halleran, Kelly must support born-alive protections

U.S. Consumers need country-of-origin labeling on internet
Congress must fight to ensure that America’s families know exactly what they’re buying online with their hard-earned money. Both the House and Senate should support country-of-origin labeling for all e-commerce transactions. Anything less could potentially put American lives at risk.
Arizona needs stronger tobacco regulation, reject HB2682
With increased tobacco use in recent years, including 1 in 6 youth in Arizona using e-cigarettes, it’s clear Arizona needs stronger tobacco regulation. We must regulate retailers and hold them accountable. We can’t let an industry with a track record of lying create its own rules. We respectfully urge lawmakers to demand better and reject HB2682.
We all win with extension of investment program
The Legislature has the opportunity to do the right thing by recognizing the economic engine this program has been proven to be and voting to extend the angel investor tax credits for another 10 years. This is an investment in Arizona’s future, not only for the state’s startup community but also for taxpayers here and future generations of entrepreneurs.

Attacks on ballot initiatives are anti-democratic
Arizonans do not want to see ballot initiatives go away and we should not have to give up our constitutional protections to this right any time soon. Arizona representatives owe it to their constituents to vote no on SCR1024, SB1531 and HB2891 to save the people of Arizona’s constitutional right to democratic participation.
