Dems took on big Pharma, voters like me noticed

Arizonans rejected the extremist agenda in the midterm election. With Big Pharma-aligned candidates on the ballot, my decision was a no-brainer, and clearly most Arizonans agree. I’m relieved that the 118th Congress will protect Medicare and prescription drug reforms that Arizonans like me rely on.

Initiative should create jobs, boost economic output in aerospace industry

To address the growing need for a continually diversified and modern workforce, the New Economy Initiative was signed into law, providing millions of dollars in state funding through the Arizona Board of Regents to invest in Arizona’s economic future. This initiative aims to create 40,000 new jobs by 2041, increase economic output to $6.9 billion by 2023, and double the state’s investment in r[...]

Shine a light on secret meetings of ALEC

It’s time to shine a light on the secret meetings of corporate lobbyists and lawmakers. Better yet, we should make sure lawmaking takes place not in back rooms and private resorts but in the public square. As it stands, out-of-state corporate interests are getting their way because Arizonans don’t have a say.

Voting is a right for all, including ex-cons

I firmly believe that restoration of a person’s voting rights should be automatic after they are released from prison. I feel even more solid in that stance having gone through the process to restore my own right to vote.

Energizing Arizona: community solar can inject billions into state economy

Not only should the Arizona Corporation Commission create a community solar program in Arizona, but it must also structure the program in a way that fosters real competition and allows outside investors to compete in our energy marketplace.

Forced schooling burdens beauty professionals

Beauty schools follow different rules. State lawmakers give them a captive audience, so they collect tuition even when they fail to meet students’ needs. The sticker shock is especially bad for eyelash technicians, who don’t even learn the right occupation.

Media unethically favors Democrats

You media sycophants cheated for the party responsible for skyrocketing inflation and violent crime, defunding police, open borders, record fentanyl deaths, sexualizing grade-schoolers, and energy-rich America kissing Saudi feet for oil.

Hard workers should be able to make a living

Costs are rising, and wages aren’t keeping up. We need immediate action to lower the prices of everyday basics and raise the minimum wage.

Pushing for PRO Act hurts economy

The PRO Act is a decidedly pro-union measure that takes aim at both large and small employers and would make collateral damage of working families. If Senate Democrats go along with it, they will be choosing the anti-worker side.

Hypocrisy plagues Prop 211, sets up opponents for intimidation

Proponents of Prop 211 deceptively woo voters with a promise to expose “dark money,” without disclosing their own self-serving secrets hidden in the tortuous details of the measure. Proponents claim the act will “shine a desperately needed light on political spending, a light that has been missing in Arizona politics.”
