Sinema confident about CD9 lead (access required)

Arizona’s new hypercompetitive 9th Congressional District lived up its billing, with Democratic nominee Kyrsten Sinema holding a narrow but growing lead over Republican Vernon Parker in a race that was still undecided at the end of election night. As of Wednesday evening, Sinema, a former legislator from central Phoenix, leads by 2,715 votes.

In a race for a competitive but Democratic-leaning district, Parker is the only big name in the GOP primary so far. Paradise Valley to refund traffic cam tickets

Paradise Valley giveth tickets and now the town will be taking 1,000 photo enforcement tickets away because of a bad yellow-light timer. The ticket refunds are expected to total $36,000, officials said.
