A new approach to supporting and educating foster youth

EVIT has pioneered new educational opportunities for foster care youth that allows them to take a Career and Technical Education (CTE) program at EVIT while they finish their GED. As part of the most recent state budget, EVIT will be expanding the program to include building a residential center at its Main Campus for foster youth. We will look at this groundbreaking plan for providing a safe place for youth who are getting ready to transition out of foster care.
